Harris Health Center is conveniently located
on Public Transportation routes at 833 Broadway in East Providence, Rhode
Island, within a mile of Interstate 195.
Harris Health Center offers a full
complement of ancillary services including Occupational, Physical, Speech,
and Inhalation Therapy in addition to other rehabilitative and restorative
services.
Harris Health Center is certified to
participate in Federal Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance programs,
meeting and exceeding all qualifying criteria.
The activities program is designed to
encourage residents to participate in the many community activities nearby.
Our handicapped accessible van insures our residents the freedom to explore
the state and nearby communities.
Daily activities include social activities
and religious services.
Recreational activities include therapeutic
exercises, outdoor activities with frequently scheduled cookouts and field
trips throughout the state which have included Roger Williams Park, circuses,
movies, restaurants, Foxwoods Casino, sporting events, Bay Queen Cruises,
concerts, picnics and more.
